I had the chance to play around on a Palm Pre this week. A client and good friend of mine has one with Sprint – and he loves it. While at his office doing some tech support, he let me click (tap) around on it.

Let me just say that I was very impressed. As you know, I’m a huge iPhone supported, but the Pre is definitely in my list of “3 real smartphones”.

• Very snappy when clicking
• Apps work very smoothly
• Supports multi-tasking (apps in the background)
• Robust selection of apps
• Had live streaming “television” on it for NFL and some other choices
• Will be offered by Verizon soon – although the Sprint network was very quick on it.

I asked Mike to check out my blog from the Pre so I could see how it looked. The theme rendered very nicely. Hats off to the WP Touch developers on a nice job.

It’s going to be really cool to see how the mobile technology landscape evolves over the next few years.
