One of the advantages to using Gmail is that you can login to the web browser through SSL and Gmail uses an SSL connection for sending/receiving email through email clients – Thunderbird, Outlook, Outlook Express. How Secure is my email on my laptop if I use an email client? Well that is a great question. In most cases, if your laptop gets stolen then the crook has full access to your email stored on your computer - having a Windows password does zero good! However, I can setup a fully secure system using encrypted container technology. Combined with the SSL connection that Google uses to connect to your email client, you will have one of the most secure setups around.

Can you encrypt my email from my computer all the way to the recipient? Well sure I can. There are a couple of ways to do this, but the technology is available and is free and open source! Of course, I charge a reasonable fee to setup the security and instruct you on how to do it.

Who do I contact for support? As usual, we fully support any services that we offer. Simply call us 24/7, send us a txt message, instant message, or email. Also, Google offers an extensive help site for Gmail.

What about virus protection? In addition to virus protection that automatically scans your attachments and tries to remove any viruses found in them, Gmailtm also doesn't send or receive any executable files since most computer viruses are contained in executable files. Plus, if you have an anti-virus program running on your computer, you have an additional layer of protection.
