As most of you know, I don’t play that many video games. In years past, I was very much into EverQuest, but I just don’t have the time anymore. However, the boys have PS2’s and Santa brought a Wii for Christmas. While I’d played a Wii before with customers, I didn’t realize how much fun the thing really is. Our whole family enjoys it.
Now, I have another reason to like it. Soon the Wii will add Netflix streaming. Since I’m already a Netflix subscriber (for DVD’s), this will be perfect. The only downsides – you have to insert a free Netflix disc to stream (runs the application) and Netflix’s streaming service generally has older titles. That’s ok though – more family time.
I’m still considering a Roku, but the Wii service will add to the entertainment capabilities.
